Most schools would benefit from having teachers cross teach with CTE educators using their topic. This benefits both parties.
Utilizing successful recent graduates has been a very successful strategy. Having them come back, and talk with the current students seems to have an outsized impact on the current students.
CTE is a major role in the education of young people. A focus on it being a large part of both formal an informal education is what helps students realize their potential and passion for hands on careers as well as hands on hobbies. There is such a world of small entrepreneur craftsmanship now I believe we should in fact focus on this as well.
I believe the spending rules supports Perkins and the actual purpose of the program. Designed to be a supplement and focused on providing prominent educational support and resources to underserved communities.
